Ringwood State Park New Jersey
Ringwood State Park in northern New Jersey is an outdoor wonderland. With hiking, biking, boating, fishing, and swimming. The Park is home to New Jersey Botanical Gardens, Ringwood Manor, Sheperd Lake, the Thunder Mountain Skeet Range, and St. Luke's Chapel among other things.
Trails
Ringwood State Park is home to numerous trails of all difficulty ratings. Trail uses include hiking, mountain biking, and horse back riding. Trail lengths can be are short as half of a mile to over five miles. There are colored trail makers along the trails. There are free maps available at the information office located at Ringwood Manor.
Sheperd Lake
Shepard Lake is a 74 acre multi-use lake located in Ringwood State Park. With fishing, picnicking, boating, hiking, biking and more.
